Fresh Wok
About This Spot
Stepping into Fresh Wok on E Front Street in Port Angeles, you’re greeted by a warm, unhurried rhythm that invites you to settle in and savor a moment away from the bustle outside. The spacious interior, thoughtfully decorated with a subtle nod to classic Chinese design, creates a comfortable backdrop where conversations flow easily and familiar aromas hint at the satisfying meal to come.
Fresh Wok feels like that dependable neighborhood spot where families and friends come together—whether it’s a midday catch-up after a hike or a relaxed evening gathering. The pace here honors a slower, intentional experience: attentive service blends seamlessly with the steady hum of quiet chatter and the occasional clink of tea cups.
The menu reflects this balance, offering dishes that feel both hearty and thoughtfully prepared. The comforting steam rising from bowls of hot and sour or wonton soup pairs naturally with generous plates of fried rice or hand-crafted potstickers. Whether you’re drawn to the delicate sweetness of honey walnut prawns or the familiar, comforting flavors of almond chicken, the food at Fresh Wok carries the kind of honest, approachable character that encourages sharing and lingering.
Behind the scenes, this is a place where the team seems tuned into the simple joys of hospitality, creating an environment that’s welcoming without being showy. It’s this genuine warmth that keeps regulars coming back, whether for a quiet meal or a larger family get-together.
In many ways, Fresh Wok offers more than just a meal—it’s a small reprieve that feels thoughtfully made and quietly satisfying, a pause where both new visitors and longtime locals can enjoy flavors that speak of care and tradition.

My family and I have been dining at this lovely restaurant for years now and we have always had fantastic food and service. The staff is very warm and welcoming, checking to make sure our needs were met. I have to give a shout out to Katy, our server, she's amazing. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. I highly recommend a visit here, I promise you will leave satisfied.

My Daughter and I thought we would try them out for a Lunch time Feast. We got Fried Rice, Almond Chicken, Orange Chicken, and Chow Mein. It came with a Couple Egg Roll's, and BBQ Pork. These are some Pictures after we loaded our plates. Good Portions, Good Food, Great Service... I'll Go Back

Pretty decent option after hiking nearby. I got the string beans with chicken lunch combo in an attempt to be healthy and it was pretty good. I really liked the soup that came with the combo. I also chose cream cheese wonton for my appetizer as part of the combo and it was great too. The tea they offered was also great and tasty. Our server was kind. Food was a little slow to come out, but not a big deal. I don't have any complaints really. If I came to the area again, I'd consider coming here again. It's not the best Chinese food you'll ever have, but it gets the job done after a tiring workout.

We were visiting and were craving Chinese food . Checked this restaurant through google reviews .. actually from outside it looks a very normal restaurant but inside is gorgeous . Lots of space and well made interiors. Good place to sit and dine with family . They have lots of options for big family get togethers. They have beers and it was good . We got some general Tsos chicken , rice and few other stuff .. food was good . Quantity was also good . Service was good. I was being helped by 2 of them with a smiling face. Overall it was a good experience..

Decent American Chinese food. A bit overly salty for my taste but it’s not too greasy like many other Chinese restaurants’ foods. The dining hall is spacious and interestingly decorated. The staff is courteous and pleasant. If I come here again, I would request reduction of salt or sodium-rixh seasoning.

We just got in to town from a very long drive and we're looking for good Chinese food. After reading Google reviews we decided on fresh wok. We were not disappointed , Not only was the food delicious and the portions huge but the service was excellent and the waitresses were all very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The restaurant was nicely decorated clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back again on our next trip from Vancouver Island. Thank you so much for ending our long road trip on such a positive note!! We are so glad we chose fresh wok!!!
